Join Us to Learn How to Combat Opioid Crisis with Cleveland Clinic
Parents, join Saint Joseph Academy and Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital for a panel discussion entitled “Heroin, Fentanyl and Carfentanil: The Triple Threat on Our Doorstep.” This event hopes to bring residents, community partners and local experts together to engage in open conversation about the opioid epidemic, a serious issue facing teenagers in Northeast Ohio. This goal of this discussion is to empower community members by connecting them to the resources and information they need to combat the opioid crisis.
Panel members include moderator Timothy Barnett, MD, Vice President, Medical Operations, Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital; The Honorable David Matia, Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Drug Court; James Mark, MD, Director of Emergency Services Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital; Valeria Harper, Executive Director of The Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County; and Saint Joseph Academy alumna Margaret A. Sweeney ’03, Assistant United States Attorney, Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces, Northern District of Ohio.
