Cardinal Health at Home October Pharmacy Awareness Month Lunch & Learn series to drive awareness
around the opiate addiction crisis.

We are very inspired for the opportunity to host community leaders to address this tragic epidemic. Just
to recap: Series presentations will be held at 12-12:30PM (plus time for Q&A) on Wednesdays in
October in our 1909 Training Room:

  • October 4, Rose DeRoia, CH@H pharmacist presents her story, her son’s journey/battle with
    addiction, and little-known addiction info/recovery challenges.
  • October 11, Twinsburg Fire and Police present TFD experiences, county statistics and local
    resources.
  • October 18, Maureen Dee, Director of Recovery Services for Catholic Charities and Cuyahoga
    County behavioral health programs, shares addiction information including National, state and
    local data on trends and overdose deaths, signs of substance dependency, levels of
    intervention/care/recovery and hope.
  • October 25, Cardinal Health Foundation GenerationRX visit sharing GenerationRX program
    information/accessibility/how-to-use and employee call-to-action.

On either October 11 or 25, our Cardinal Health Anthem representative will be onsite, as well, to provide information to employees regarding Anthem resources available to them.
