University Heights, Ohio - John Carroll University is now offering a certificate program to train counselors to treat people who have substance-abuse disorders. The program is open to those who have an associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree and are seeking to enter the field of counseling.  Due to the opioid epidemic, Ohio has a growing demand for counselors trained to treat people suffering from chemical dependency and substance abuse, the college said. BOSTON HEIGHTS, Ohio - Federal agents arrested two Mexican nationals and a Cleveland man after more than 140 pounds of methamphetamine was seized in Boston Heights — believed to be the largest seizure of meth in Ohio's history. Tyrone Rogers, 36, of Cleveland, Hector Manuel Ramos-Nevarez, 26, and Gilbert Treviso-Garcia, 24, both of Mexico, are charged with conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute methamphetamine.
